The original covered deck wasn’t serving the family—it felt disconnected and sat unused most of the year. They came to us with a vision for a space that felt like part of the home and could be used comfortably, year-round.
We fully enclosed the structure, added insulation and HVAC, and finished it with custom built-ins, a cozy window bench, and large windows that flood the room with natural light. One of the biggest challenges? Creating a level transition from the home into the new space. We ended up raising the homes existing floor by a whole inch to align it perfectly with the addition—now, you’d never know the two were ever separate.
The result is a warm, functional 4-season room that’s become one of the most loved spaces in the house—designed for everyday living, in every season.
